csPos: Restaurant POS with QR Ordering, KDS & Zomato Integration

The challenge

Restaurant operators juggled paper KOTs, manual billing, and disconnected aggregator tablets. Dine-in orders were slow at peak hours, kitchen staff missed modifiers on handwritten tickets, and Zomato/Swiggy orders lived outside the main POS. Owners had no single dashboard for sales, top sellers, inventory depletion, or multi-branch performance. They needed a restaurant POS software stack that handles dine-in, takeaway, delivery, and QR table ordering — with GST-compliant invoicing, role-based staff access, print management, and franchise-ready menu control — without paying per-terminal fees forever.

Our solution

CSNexa delivered csPos as a full-stack Laravel 12 restaurant management platform. The POS terminal offers category-filtered menus, veg/non-veg toggles, cart persistence, coupons, table assignment, and Cash/Card/UPI payments with automatic tax calculation. Customers scan table QR codes to browse the live menu and place orders without staff — orders flow straight into the kitchen. A Kitchen Display System (KDS) replaces paper tickets with Pending → In Kitchen → Ready → Completed columns, sold-out toggles, and daily prep summaries. Order management includes list and Kanban views, status workflows, KOT/receipt printing, and invoice generation. Inventory covers ingredients, recipes, stock-in, waste tracking, and recipe-linked depletion. Integrations include Razorpay checkout and webhooks, Zomato order webhooks and menu sync, and Swiggy bridge support. Super Admin provisions restaurants, subscription plans, and franchise menu overrides; restaurant owners manage categories, items, variations, addons, tables, reservations, customers, reports, and staff roles from one browser-based dashboard deployable on AWS.
