Discovery and scope
- Document current workflows in finance, inventory, sales, and ops — not ideal future state only.
- Define module priority: which department goes live first?
- Assign an internal product owner with authority to decide trade-offs.
Data migration
- Audit Excel and legacy exports — remove duplicates before import.
- Run trial imports with validation reports.
- Freeze master data cutover date with stakeholders.
Testing and training
- UAT scripts per role (finance, warehouse, sales).
- Parallel run for 1–2 weeks where possible.
- Role-specific training sessions recorded for onboarding.
